The excitement is mutual! First, you’ll fill out our contact form here. We’ll review your submission and determine if we’re a good fit for each other. If we are, we’ll have our initial chat and get a proposal over to you. If everything looks good, the proposal is signed and we’ll collect a 50% downpayment on services. For larger projects, we’ll start with a project kick-off call. For all others, we’ll just get started.
After you sign the proposal and make everything offish (i.e., official), well collect a 50% downpayment from you prior to the start of the project. The rest is billed at the end of the project, or according to the terms of your specific proposal.
One of our team members will contact you (usually within 48 hours) to answer any questions you may have. We will send a proposal and invoice for the deposit after we’ve chatted. When you’re ready to get the ball rolling, we’ll do some organizing on our end and add your project to our project management software, so that you can track our progress and have access to our design team.
Due to the digital nature of our services, BDG does not offer a refund policy of any kind. In the event that you decide to cancel your project within the first 30 days of the start date, a standard 50% kill fee will apply. If the project is canceled after 30 days, the full project fee will be due.
Donuts and coffee. (Just kidding!) Just as you can expect us to always meet our deadlines and get back to you within 48 hours, we expect the same from you, in order to preserve a project’s momentum. In extreme cases, if a client does not respond within 21 days (yep, that’s happened), we reserve the right to cancel the project at the client’s expense. Of course, we want to give you the time you need to make the best decisions for you and your business, and to give the most useful feedback possible. Expected response times are within 48 hours, but if you need more time (within reason, of course), just tell us and we’ll find a way to work it out.
We’ll email you an invoice. From there, you’ll be able to process payment quickly and securely using a credit card or a direct bank transfer. Of course, you can always go the old-fashioned route and send us a check. We love that as well.
Once the questionnaire, deposit, and client contract are locked down, we get to work according to the schedule in the proposal. Generally, brand design projects take 4-6 weeks; websites can last anywhere from two weeks for a Quickstart Website to over 10 weeks for a more involved e-commerce site. Once we add your project to our project management software, we will create a custom timeline to keep everyone in the loop and let you know ahead of time when we’ll need feedback from you.
Yes. After completing payment in full, you’ll own 100% rights to the completed work, with the following exception: The visual identity cannot be sub-licensed, re-sold, shared, transferred, or otherwise redistributed on its own (even for free). Furthermore, before making any changes to finished work, BDG must be consulted and provide consent.
