





Donna, the owner for Beaver’s own The Beauty Mark is everything you would want in a stylist. Self-described as eclectic and quirky, she wants her clients to sit back, relax and feel welcome and pampered at her salon.
Just as some clients are ready for a change of style, The Beauty Mark was also taking on a big remodel of the entire salon – which made it the perfect time to also update overall branding. As Donna planned for the salon’s physical expansion, she was also planning an expansion of her services, so the branding concept called for an “updo” to express this.
BDG swept in to help, keeping the classic and recognizable red lips from the original logo, but also introducing a “changeable mark” concept using unique hand-drawn icons to reflect each of the new services such as brows + lashes or blowouts that The Beauty Mark will be offering.
