As a nonprofit professional performance space, the Hillman Center for Performing Arts is committed to presenting programs of excellence that represent Pittsburgh’s cultural traditions while celebrating global, artistic innovation.
As a community space, the Hillman Center facilitates performances by various cultural, educational and artistic organizations that showcase myriad traditions and talents with special emphasis on family-friendly programming. The Hillman is committed to developing outreach programs for community members, particularly youth, who would otherwise be unable to participate in such activities.

GOALS
The goal of this project was to assist the Hillman team with their year-long marketing efforts for their series of shows. They research the acts, book the shows, sell tickets, arrange media, etc. and they lean on us for all design. We are their extended marketing department and we’re here for them at a moment’s notice throughout the year!
RECOMMENDATION
Brkich Design would create an overall design that would work for the entire series of shows. Each show had a different color that was part of the overall theme. Doing this would cut down on design costs and give them a bigger bang for their marketing buck.
OUR STORY
We began our work with the Hillman Center for Performing Arts during their 2016-17 series of shows. Our team blended with theirs right away. We loved their mission and they loved having a few extra sets of hands.
